Commercial Snow Plowing Services
Snow & Ice Management for Commercial Properties
When the snow starts falling, every minute your parking lot is inaccessible is a minute of lost revenue and increased liability. Business owners can’t afford to wait for "whenever the plow shows up." You need a dedicated partner who monitors the radar 24/7 and arrives before your first employee or customer does.
Our team utilizes industrial-grade equipment and advanced weather tracking to ensure your facility remains clear, safe, and fully operational regardless of the forecast.

Benefits of Working with TD
Advanced Equipment & Capacity
A common challenge in commercial snow removal is hiring a contractor who lacks the "horsepower" to handle a major blizzard.
We invest in industrial-grade reliability with a diverse fleet of loaders, skid steers, and heavy-duty trucks. If one machine goes down, we have backups ready to deploy so your property is never left half-cleared.
24/7 Site-Specific Strategy
Every commercial property has a specific hours and high-traffic zones that dictate how snow should be managed. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all plowing.
We work with you to identify "zero-tolerance" areas, such as emergency exits, loading docks, and ramps, ensuring these are cleared first.
Proactive Monitoring
Our team regularly checks the forecast to track storms closely throughout the winter.
We are often on-site and staged before the first flake falls, so your business stays open without interruption.

Frequently Asked Questions
Got a burning question or something you are curious about? We've got the answers you need! Take a look through some of the questions we get on a regular basis, and feel free to reach out if you want to learn more.
At what depth of snow do you start plowing?
Our standard commercial trigger is 2.5 cm (1 inch) of accumulation, though we can customize this based on your specific site requirements. Once the threshold is met, our crews are automatically dispatched. For high-traffic retail or medical facilities, we often implement a "zero-tolerance" policy, where we begin clearing and salting as soon as the first flakes begin to stick.
How do you manage "Slip and Fall" liability for my business?
Liability is the biggest concern for Ontario business owners. We provide a "defense-in-depth" approach:
- Detailed Site Logs: Every visit is timestamped with weather conditions and services performed.
- GPS Tracking: All our equipment is tracked in real-time to prove exactly when we were on your property.
- Proactive De-Icing: We use professional-grade treated salts and liquids that work at lower temperatures than standard rock salt to ensure 24/7 traction.
What is the difference between "Anti-Icing" and "De-Icing"?
Timing is the key difference. Anti-icing is a liquid brine application we perform before a storm hits to prevent snow from bonding to the pavement. De-icing is the application of granular melting agents after snow has been cleared to melt any remaining ice. Using both techniques significantly reduces the total amount of salt needed while providing a safer surface.
Where will you put the snow on my property?
During our pre-season site inspection, we create a Snow Stakes & Stacking Map. We identify designated "snow storage" areas that won't block fire hydrants, sightlines at exits, or handicap parking stalls. If your property has limited space and the piles become too large, we offer Snow Hauling services to relocate the snow to an off-site facility.
Do you offer "Fixed Seasonal" or "Per-Push" contracts?
We offer both to suit your budget. A Fixed Seasonal contract provides a flat monthly rate, regardless of how much it snows—giving you predictable costs for the winter. A Per-Push (or Per-Event) contract means you only pay when we service the site. Most of our commercial clients prefer the Fixed model for easier annual budgeting.
How do you handle "Ice Storms" or freezing rain events?
Plows are useless against freezing rain, which is why we monitor the radar 24/7. During icing events, our focus shifts entirely to material application. We deploy salt spreaders continuously to "burn off" the ice as it forms. We prioritize main entrances, loading docks, and pedestrian walkways to ensure your staff and customers can safely enter and exit the building.
